My story

Over the course of 15 years I worked my way up from intern to CFP® Financial Advisor to firm owner before turning 40 years old. I’ve shared the Financial Education I was privileged enough to learn through podcasts, The Financial Pinwheel book, and now online resources as well.

I grew up in Northern New Jersey, where most people commute into New York City. They work 80 hour weeks, trying to earn as much as possible before they burn out. This was the life I expected to lead.

In college I had a professor who would change this course forever. She introduced a guest speaker that referred to himself as a Financial Planner. A whole career that was focused just on helping people from normal middle-class families. People just like me.

When I interned for my then boss and future mentor, he offered to create a plan for my mom, a single mother who had to go back to work in supporting her family. After seeing the relief and confidence given to her (she literally danced in his office!) I knew this was the path for me to take. I wanted to make other people feel the same way.

My goal is to help 100,000 families just like yours. I am a husband, father, coach, and volunteer in my community through the freedom that comes from having financial clarity in your situation.

My Proudest Working Achievements

1. CFPÂŽ Designation

Requiring 200-250 hours of studying over 12-18 months on average, the Certified Financial PlannerÂŽ designation is one of, if not the most, challenging industry designations to obtain.

2. Owner Under 40

From intern to CFP® Financial Advisor to firm owner within 15 years, I am proud to have earned the trust and respect of the firm’s founder and my mentor.

3. International Podcast Guest

I’ve been a guest on podcasts both domestically and abroad, sharing my message of Financial Education.

My wife Lauren is my most important partnership, my life’s foundation. The more I lean into her growth, the greater impact we cumulatively have for others.

Be a Phenomenal Father

My children are my purpose. I want them to see the impact people can have for others through me, inspiring them to one day exponentially exceed my contributions. Living life mostly without my father is my motivation to be phenomenal for them.

Be a Leader in My Community

My community makes my family’s life possible. Giving back to that community through volunteering and coaching allows this same experience to be there for others in the community as well.
